Michael C. Fee Appointed to the Parmenter VNA and Community Care, Inc. Board of Trustees

Parmenter VNA and Community Care, Inc. has announced that Michael C. Fee has been appointed to the organization's Board of Trustees.  He will also serve as a member of the Executive, Governance and Strategic Planning Committees.  Parmenter VNA and Community Care, Inc. (formerly known as Parmenter Health Service, Inc.), founded in 1954 and located in Wayland, is an independent, non-profit provider of home care and hospice services to residents of MetroWest.

 “Michael’s outstanding legal and business experience will be a great asset to our Board as we move forward in the ever-evolving and challenging health care environment,” said Cindy Mayher, CEO of The Parmenter Foundation.  “The Board of Directors consists of a unique combination of individuals who have demonstrated expertise in all aspects of health care, community outreach, finance and business.  Our Board is responsible for making sure that our Parmenter continues to meet our mission to provide residents in our community with exceptional home care, hospice and supportive services.  We strive to enable to help our clients maintain or improve their current levels of function in the face of disease, disability or the aging process, and to assist the dying and their families to face the end of life with comfort and dignity.”

Founded in 1964, the MBF is the philanthropic partner of the Massachusetts Bar Association. Through its grant making and charitable activities, the MBF works to increase access to justice for all Massachusetts citizens, and represents the commitment of the lawyers and judges of Massachusetts to improve the administration of justice, to promote an understanding of the law, and to ensure equal access to the legal system for all residents of the Commonwealth, particularly those most vulnerable.
